Signs of the Times Related to: Planet Earth

What can we know about planet earth in the last days? The delivery room is ready. All the medical staff is prepared and adequately trained. The doctor is more than qualified to deliver the new born child! The air is full of apprehension as the expectant mother is wheeled in to the room on the gurney! The mother has been suffering with ever-increasing birth pangs for some time now and is in great pain. After all, this is no normal pregnancy. No, this has been a very dangerous labor with an incredible amount of "perilous times". You see, the mother is about to bear a miraculous baby girl. It will be a spectacular, one-of-a-kind birth. Why? Because the mother is Planet Earth and the baby is The Bride of Christ: the church!
Jesus described it as such: "Then He said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven . . . And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." (Luke 21:10-11,25-27)
In that reference Jesus was answering a question as to when He would return for His people and to establish His Kingdom on earth. Jesus described it as a time of ever-worsening condition, starting with wars and rumors of wars and culminating with extreme signs on the earth and in heaven. He summarized the affects this tumultuous time would have on the earth as: "great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences".
The Apostle Paul says the days of these "earth events" would be like labor pains, getting more and more frequent in occurrence and stronger and stronger in intensity: "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now." (Romans 18:19-22)
Paul goes on to explain who the baby is (The Bride of Christ, the church! See: Romans 7:4): "Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body." (Romans 18:23).
What does this mean for the church?
More than we can ever imagine! Jesus has prepared a place for us that is more beautiful, spectacular more glorious then anything God ever created before; just for us! We will dwell WITH Him forever in this new home on the highest pedestal in all of heaven itself! Paul describes it by quoting the old testament Prophet Isaiah (See: Isaiah 64:4), "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' " (1 Corinthians 2:9)
What does this mean for the world? It means that planet earth is going through the worst "labor pains" that ever existed! It means that God's purpose for this world is about to end. You see, the creation of the universe and the earth was just the setting, the nursery, for the greatest creation God would ever create: The Bride for His Son! Once that is accomplished, the hearth and the heavens are no longer needed. They will be destroyed and replaced with new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness will dwell under the new King and Queen; Jesus and His Bride! It means the end of this existence. It means the system will be destroyed and the garbage removed. It means that millions of people who do not know or love Jesus will suffer and die, facing an eternity separated from God in Hell! It means if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, You are DOOMED! It means Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
Signs Involving Planet Earth As some of you know, I have a Twitter.com account that I use to give status updates (called Tweets) to the world. Below is a list of news events covering a period from August 14th, 2009 to April 27th, 2010. That is 4 1/2 months in 2009 vs. less than 4 months in 2010! These world news events deal ONLY with "earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences". As you review this list, you be the judge as to whether these world events sound like a planet suffering labor pains! Notice the number of events from 2009 vs. 2010. Are they increasing? Notice also the intensity of these events. Are they getting stronger in magnitude? Bare in mind that these are just some of the news events I was able to find or tweeted about. We will look at some additional Bible prophecies after the list that are yet to be fulfilled in out day! Take a look at these and like I said, You Decide!
These are things happening to Planet Earth today, in our world, in our day, in our lifetime! These are not all the news events fulfilling Bible prophecies about the last days. They are just the ones dealing with our planet. Doom and Gloom!
OK, so many think that we Christians who share these things are just "preaching doom & gloom". That we offer no real benefit or solutions to these issues. That we don't care about people but our own egos. No my friends that is farthest from the truth! Sure there are many, many people who fall into such a class but they will most likely be spending their future in hell too! No, it is out of a sheer sense of urgency and with Great Love, that we warn you. Time is running out and you need a wake up call! Jesus is coming soon. He died for you! What greater love is there than that? What more can a person (let alone God) do for you to demonstrate their love for you? "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Jesus loves you more than you could ever imagine or perceive. How long will you keep rejecting Him? How long will you keep spiting in His face; taking His name in vain, making jokes about God and Christians, refusing to even acknowledge His existence? How long will you HATE? Please, for your very soul's sake, accept Him today. Repent of your sins and ask Him to save you! He will and will give you a joy that you would never imaging could be possible. And a love that is unending...
Additional Bible References of Coming Events:Prelude of Jesus 2nd Coming: "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elects sake those days will be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22)
Jesus 2nd Coming: Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:29-31)
Darkness: "I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood." (Revelation 6:12)
Explosions: "The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up." (Revelation 8:7)
Super Volcanoes: Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed." (Revelation 8:8-9)
Gigantic Asteroid: Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter." (Revelation 8:10-11)
Additional Darkness Caused By Those Things: Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. (Revelation 8:12)
In conclusion, we are being warned! God will not put up with this sin-sick planet for much longer. Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled!" (Mathew 24:34)!
WE ARE THE LAST GENERATION! And the HOURGLASS is Running Out!

Summary
We are being
warned! God is showing us what His purpose for this
world entails. As we get closer and closer to the end,
the world has become more and more sinful! And
unfortunately, this condition will worsen till He
returns and redeems us from ourselves. Don't let sin,
self or Satan who has invaded our planet separate you
from the free gift of salvation that Jesus extends to
you in His invitation to be born-again:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send
His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that
the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes
in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe
is condemned already, because he has not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18)

for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand"!
